ARE YOU AGELESS? YOUR BODY’S REGENERATION SCHEDULE *PART 1

OK. So what does this mean? What is body regeneration? In short, it is the process of your body’s ceaseless renewal and growth, oh and death. The cells in our body are constantly dividing, regenerating and dying. Did you know that many of your genes that are involved in the original development of tissues are reinitialized during your body’s regenerative process? This means you become born again. You are starting from scratch with new cells. Life and death are intimately and seamlessly intertwined in this process.
The miracle of the human body is that if you get a cut or a bruise you heal. When you get sick your body knows how to heal itself. Your body automatically flushes out toxins without you needing to direct it to and this is just scratching the surface of how amazing you are. Every part of you, from your organs to your cells recreates itself! Then how old are you really? My guess is that you are younger than you think.
Here’s the general Body Regeneration Schedule:
  • Intestinal lining: 2-30 days
  • Skin: 21-30 days
  • Red Blood Cells: 90-120 days
  • Pancreas: 5-12 months
  • Liver: 6 weeks-3 months
  • Muscles: 6 months- 3 years
  • Tissues: 1-7 years
  • Bones: 8 months – 4 years
  • Hair: Grows 1mm every 3 days - renews every 6 years
  • Mouth’s Lining: Every few hours
  • Bladder: About 49 days
  • Lung’s Surface: 2-3 weeks
  • Heart: 3-4 times over a lifetime

This is great news! Who doesn’t want to feel great, be healthy and look young? Even better news is that we can either support our body’s regenerative process or inhibit it. You are in control. By eating nutritional foods, using herbs, proper sleep, having healthy emotions and healing intentions we help our body optimally regenerate itself. Using medications filled with chemicals, toxic thinking, exposure to too much radiation (cell phones, microwaves, TV’s), unhealthy sleep habits will inhibit and interfere with the bodies incredible self-renewal system.
*Part 2 of my article will be posted here. Stay tuned.
